Dr. Azul DelGrasso
Scholar-practitioner · Ecopsychologist · Artist · Educator
I’m Azul, and my work lives at the meeting place of consciousness, culture, and the living world.
For more than 30 years, my work has centered human dignity, from national HIV-prevention and health-equity initiatives to teaching, research, and non-clinical support for people navigating profound experiences and life transitions.
I hold a PhD in Transformative Studies, an MA in Ecopsychology, and an MA in Latin American Studies. My research explores 5-MeO-DMT, unitive consciousness, and ecological identity—asking how experiences of connection can become ethical, grounded change in everyday life.
My Romani heritage, decades of public-health service, and long relationship with contemplative and earth-based practice shape the way I listen: with respect for lineage, context, consent, and the realities each person carries.
My approach is relational, culturally humble, trauma-aware, and rooted in right relationship. I do not offer therapy, diagnosis, or medicine. I offer education, consultation, ceremony preparation, and integration-oriented reflection for people seeking meaning, clarity, and a deeper sense of belonging.
This work is an invitation: to remember your own wisdom, restore relationship with the more-than-human world, and move forward with greater presence and care.
